SmarterBeam is a cost effective solution for protecting outdoor perimeters where a fence line is present. A single SmarterBeam detector has a range of 500 feet when installed just inside the fence.
When an intruder moves through the invisible infrared curtain, the sudden change in the infrared radiation is detected and an alarm condition occurs with each fence security breach.
SmarterBeam uses adaptive threshold decoding (ATD) and signal shape analysis with our perimeter security devices, which dramatically reduces nuisance alarms. Heavy weather conditions typically do not cause interference issues with the product.
SmarterBeam’s PIR outdoor motion sensors detectors are single ended, non-emitting devices that are easy to install and cannot be detected by electronic means.
SmarterBeam is installed on a 13 foot tall pole so it is very difficult for vandals to easily reach the unit.
SmarterBeam uses very little power and does not require special heaters or blowers as the unit can withstand temperature extremes.
