Disabled Access

The Fastlane Optical Entrance Control range has been designed to comply with most international disability regulations, such as the ADA, and offer numerous unique benefits. Fastlane barrier models are modified to accommodate wheelchair width lanes but unlike others, the same streamlined pedestal accommodates standard and disabled access lanes alike, with the exception of GlassWing. Fastlane systems feature audible and visual feedback to assist the hard of hearing and visually impaired.

Passgate options - While all Fastlane Optical and Barrier models can accommodate disabled access, Fastlane PassGate and IntelliGate are also available for those who prefer to use passgates. Unique to the industry, IntelliGate features an infrared detection system for bidirectional and tailgate security.

Fastlane Turnstile Remote Controls and Visitor Management System

A desktop controller 1) allows guards to override some of the Fastlane features, 2) facilitates visitor entry and 3) gives a visual indication of lanes in alarm at the guard desk. When the Visitor Management System is activated by personnel, it will allow an individual or group of individuals to pass through the lane in a supervised fashion. Once the visitors have entered and the system no longer sees anyone entering or exiting after a period of time, it returns to its secure state.

A handheld model is also available to empower guards to open lanes while away from the desk.

Population Counting… Fastcount

Fastlane Turnstiles can be customized to provide dedicated and highly accurate population counting. Population data includes, 1) Current Population, 2) Total Usage and 3) Set Point Limits for either A) a single area or B) multiple areas. Depending on the application and needs, data can either be shown on a Pedestrian Counting Status Display or on a standard Windows based PC for data logging. Additional tailoring of features and functionality can be added to the Fastcount Software to assist with the exact application requirements of the user. The system can be configured in a number of ways to suit a variety of applications, including:

• ingress counts for casinos or retail,
• real time population limit warnings for fire and safety compliance at entertainment venues and
• population input to the HVAC controller for air quality needs at museums, factories and other large venues.

Fastlane Turnstile Infill System

The Fastlane Infill System is a series of decorative, modular panels that aesthetically and operationally compliment Fastlane turnstiles. Their function is to guide users to the turnstiles for secure ingress and egress. Both Fixed and Free Standing Infill systems are available in standard and customized width panels. Fastlane Turnstile Floor Protector

Designed for sites where core drilling is prohibited, undesirable,or for temporary applications, the Fastlane Floor Protector provides quick, cost effective installations and protection for the floor. Pedestals are mounted on a steel framework, and cabling goes underneath an anti-skid subtle steel ramp that is ADA compliant.

Turnstile Card Reader Mounting

Fastlane products are designed to work with most access control systems and card reading technology including proximity, mag stripe and biometrics. Internal and external mounting options are available, including discreet recessed windows in many models.
