Jeff Brown, PSP, Chief Executive Officer

Jeff has led Smarter Security through its rapid growth since acquiring the company in 2002. He has propelled the company into a consistent industry leader, recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America for six years. Under Jeff’s leadership, Smarter Security has become widely known for marketing the industry’s best technology backed by unsurpassed customer support.  Jeff and his team are incredibly proud to secure many of the world’s most iconic buildings.

Prior to Smarter Security, Jeff established himself as a marketing leader in consumer brands with companies such as American Airlines, PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay, and Pillsbury as well as in the technology sector with MCI and IXC Communications.

Jeff earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Kent State University, and a master's degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

David Dolmanet, Chief Financial Officer

David brings a quarter century of Finance, Accounting, and Operational experience across a broad spectrum of industries and company lifecycle stages to Smarter Security.  In his role, he provides executive leadership in areas of strategic direction, financial planning and analysis, customer success, logistics and supply chain management, and accounting and controls.

Prior to joining Smarter Security, David was Managing Director of Financial Advisory Services at 9Gauge Partners where he managed service delivery teams for over 80 active clients.  David was a Partner at Lone Rock Technology Group, an operationally oriented private investment firm focused on the enterprise software industry.  There, he held executive roles in Finance and Operations for multiple portfolio companies.  Prior to Lone Rock, David served as CFO for Minco Technology Labs, a Hi-Rel/Milspec semiconductor manufacturer; co-founder and VP of Finance/HR at CacheIQ, Inc., an Austin-based start-up in the Enterprise NAS performance market that was later sold to NetApp; and spent over a decade in Finance and Operational roles at Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor.

David holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kirsten Matetich, Vice President, Marketing

Kirsten brings over 15 years of security and technology experience to lead marketing for Smarter Security and sister brand ReconaSense. Her expertise spans branding, advertising, content marketing, analytics, sales enablement, executive communications, and more, paired with a strong focus on delivering measurable business and financial results.

Prior to joining Smarter Security, she led marketing at AllClear ID, achieving high growth and positioning the brand as a “Leader” in the Forrester Research Wave for Data Breach Response services. Her career also includes marketing at Microsoft, working with Fortune 500 clients and agencies to advance Microsoft’s competitive position within digital media. She also served as a consultant at Accenture, assessing needs and creating communications and change management solutions for mergers and systems implementations.

Kirsten earned BA in English from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
